Sadly, I don’t live in New York City, Los Angeles or any of the other cities that are hosting events for Fashion’s Night Out this year, so I’m having a night in to go online shopping!

I’ve been shying away from online shopping for a while but I went onlien with my hughesnet internet and did some serious shopping to celebrate the occassion. Vogue’s editor in chief Anna Wintour started the event last year, which is basically a night of parties hosted by fashion designers and stores to encourage people to shop in the economic downturn.

It ended up being wildly successful last year so they did it again this year. It was a little more than I would have paid for stuff normally – I make it a general rule to only window shop on those websites – but I thought I needed a special treat so I dished out the cash for the discounted price and got the bag.
